We believe that through innovation we can help our customers reduce costs and improve performance. Our mission is therefore to be the most innovative and technically competent cold forging company in Europe.
We seek to offer the most comprehensive customer service possible. We are proud of our ability to react quickly and to deliver to short timescales, complete with packaging and labelling that simplify your onward distribution and manufacturing processes.
Through our innovative designs, technical excellence and competitive prices, we add value to your product while eliminating unnecessary layers of cost in your supply chain.
We have a comprehensive range of machinery to meet the diverse needs of our customers. We are therefore able to offer unrivalled capabilities – in design, tooling, manufacture, assembly and logistics – all in house. Our facility features 19 cold forming, 9 roll forming and 35 second operation machines. Recent investment includes a new SEMS roller, a TESA Scan 52 optical measuring machine, a pointing and drilling machine, and a heading machine.
We are one of the UK’s oldest cold forging manufacturers. Barton was formed more than 80 years ago in the back room of a pub called the Barton Arms in the Midlands. It was founded by Cyril Field, the inventor of the Fixt-nut, which was used extensively in the automotive industry for half a century. Barton has since moved from strength to strength. At the end of 2006 we relocated to a custom-built, 5,100 square metre facility – unique in the industry for its comprehensive range of machinery.
